  When go to the restroom, go there to have a bowel movement. Don't take any reading material in there, because that keeps you in there longer. Sitting in the bathroom, puts pressure on your rectum and anal veins and eventually weakens the vein walls. Excess sitting can also aggravate the hemroids you already have. Hemroids are like extra skin or inflammation that accumulates around your anus. That area can become itchy or painful to touch or movement.
